"Wanted to buy an office chair was told I just missed the sale on the item I wanted. There was a tag still on chair for sale price. Attendant checked with boss to get correct price and told me it was to be sold at sale price. Then the only one they had was floor model which was dusty and had been used. I asked if there was a discount for being floor model and manage said no. Took it to front desk to check out and they refused to sell it to me for sale price unless I paid a $20.00 assembly fee….. really?? Never going back PERIOD."
"Called to see if they had a product in stock, she lady that answered the phone was very rude and told me she didn't know and couldn't leave the counter to check. Everytime I am in here the associates are standing around and there might be two customers in the store. She was just too lazy to go check."

"If I could give it a zero, I would. I have shopped at this store for 21 years and have never been treated so rudely by a manager at any store in Sandpoint. This is still a small community where people share and care. Staples thinks they are too big to be affected by the opinions of just a handful, but in the long run, they are losing customers daily. Most of the associates on the floor are great, but untrained people are being put on the checkout. When the manager's assistance is required, her fury is unleashed! It is much more joyful to visit Petco, they should take a few lessons from them:)."
"Even though they were short on staff, the cashier and manager were very patient and helpful and well informed about all their products. I recommend this store because you’ll leave either with the best product or with the best recommendation on how to get what you need."
