"I'll give the beer here a five-star rating. I discovered this place because a University of Idaho alumni event was being hosted here. The lager and amber beers at this place are terrific. So good is the beer I went back to Sockeye the next day and about a six-pack case of the lager and a six-pack case of the amber."

"A great oasis behind the super busy section of town. We stopped in this afternoon to get away from the crowds and traffic. We have been here many times and have never been disappointed. We sat on the patio and the server was so nice. The beer selection was great. It has that quality that is hard to describe but you feel that you're welcome here and they treat you like you're a regular. Highly recommended!"
"Our work team had a great experience at Sockeye on Fairview. Very busy on a Thursday night! Our waitress was really running with all her tables and she totally kept her cool with our big table along with many others. I can only rate the food, but can verify it was top notch. Those that ordered food were happily impressed! Great job for as busy as they were and what might have been a little short staffed. Looking forward to returning and trying some of their other entrée, menu items."
"The Sockeye Brewery on Fairview has great atmosphere, a large bar and delicious beer and food. The brewery can be quite crowded, especially on the weekends, so be prepared to wait or sit at the bar with no kids. The salmon bacon sandwich is one of my favorites as well as the calamari."
