In-N-Out Burger

"I mean, I had to do it. More so for the experience, just to be able to say I did it, than the food. My husband and I spontaneously dropped by one Saturday afternoon around 4:00. We *only* waited in line for an hour, but by the time we received our food the line was twice as long. He ordered a #1, I a #2 with Animal Style fries and a vanilla milkshake. The total was only about $19.00, super cheap for a meal for two. Food was just…alright. Again, I was here for the experience so I wasn’t too picky over the actual food, however from the hype I expected a lot more. Nothing particularly wrong, the ingredients were fresh, everything made as ordered and served hot. It just didn’t do it for me. There was no kick, no oomph. It’s just a burger. And I can get one anywhere (lots if local selections) which may cost a little more, but at least I won’t have to give up an absurd amount of time. I don’t get y’all who swear by the Animal Style fries - they look and taste atrocious. I could hardly stomach it and stole a ton of my husband’s regular fries to his chagrin because he didn’t want any Animal mess either. I’d go back, but not until the cones are gone and I don’t have to dedicate an entire evening waiting for dinner. And if that never happens, I’m fine with never going back. More for everybody else. :)"

"Came to the very first In-N-Out in meridian Idaho on a Wednesday night. It was slower to dine in , but the drive thru was an hour wait. So we opted to dine in. The whole place was packed . The employees were doing an excellent job handling all the orders. The lady that took our order was very polite. Ordered 2 double doubles, with the animal style fries. The hamburgers were a tasty & overall it fills you up. The meat was fresh, the buns and veggies tasted fresh as well. The animal style fries lived up to the reputation of being just that. You turn into an animal devouring these fries. Cheese and onions on top of just makes you want more! I suggest coming here mid week at night around 8:00-9:00 to avoid such a long line. It’s definitely worth the wait and definitely will be coming back soon."

"Love the place regardless of the critics. In & Out always has a special place in my heart. Burgers are well made and cheap, the fries are awesome and the shakes are out of this world for the price. Service is still great! All around the best experience a fast food restaurant can offer."

"Terrific food, great service. Line was long but it moved fast. The Meridian location is fantastic. If you don't like the "regular" way their fries come simply choose the "well done" or "Light/Light well done". One of these combinations is certain to strike a chord with your appetite. All flavors of their shakes, Strawberry, Vanilla and Chocolate are terrific! With two more locations scheduled to open in SW Idaho/ Treasure Valley, this chain has certainly found a new home."
