"You walk into this superb independent bookstore and are immediately struck by the sapience of the book selections. This always bodes well. Very nice layout, making it easy to find something of interest. Then you meet Becky, the owner-proprietor, and you realize why the book store is the way it is. She reads extensively and knows her inventory and, after asking you a few questions, is able to make splendid recommendations. I purchase few paper books these days. I have thousands at home already, so am restricted to digital and library books. But when I walk into a bookstore like this, I have to buy to support such an endeavor. The Bookloft is indeed a treasure not to be missed by visiting the area. If that weren't enough, Becky recommended a great place for dinner, the Range Rider in Enterprise. Hats off and keep it up Becky!!"

"EVERYONE WHO VISITS WALLOWA LAKE NEEDS TO STOP HERE. I stopped by to pick something up to read for my backpacking trip and was enthralled to find the most darling bookstore I have yet to encounter in Oregon. The bookseller I spoke to was extremely helpful in recommending titles for all different tastes and patient while listening to my opinions on all sorts of books as well. The book I ended up purchasing greatly enhanced my four nights in the wilderness. There's no better place to read!"
