"Have spent so much time at Performance Lab over the past few years. It’s always been an awesome, clean, and friendly place to get a workout or group class in. There are shower facilities for anyone that’s on the go and they are always clean and towels are readily available. Performance Lab has a variety of personal trainers you can choose from if you are interested in that as well, while their group classes include high cardio classes, boxing, and more if anything interests you there."

"Honestly the best gym I’ve ever been a part of. And I mean a part of. PL makes you feel that you’re a part of the culture of the their family. They want to see you thrive and reach your goals and become the best version of you. The employees and members are all so nice, where you just want to keep coming back every day and boom before you know it you’re seeing results in yourself!"

"TLDR: If you go to Performance Lab, only pay for services you have already received. Do not prepay. Long version: Before trying to get a refund, I only had good things to say about Performance Lab. As someone in recovery for an eating disorder, I've been to many gyms over the years that triggered me and made me spiral. I was so nervous to give a gym another shot, but I was drawn to Performance Lab's message of meeting everyone where they are and focusing on health/quality of life over numbers-related fitness goals. I gave them a shot, and I ended up adoring my personal trainer. I never could have imagined feeling so safe and supported in a gym, and I was recommending it to all my friends who also had gym horror stories. Unfortunately, my trainer moved on, in part I believe due to a culture shift in the gym. I asked for a refund for the private lessons I hadn't used. My trainer gave me her portion the same day. It took me over two months of persistent effort--eight phone calls, multiple texts, and three in-person visits--before getting the remaining 20% that Performance Lab keeps of the fee, despite being freely promised the money the first time I reached out about it. I imagine David, the store owner, would say that the delay happened due to a family emergency. My response is that the family emergency only happened in the last week I was trying to get the refund. That left seven weeks where I was repeatedly promised the 20%, and was even told that a check would be mailed to me. (It was never mailed.) During those seven weeks I said goodbye to a family member. I buried a family member. My family almost completely handled 90+ years of loose ends. And still I was not able to receive a simple refund. This was not a new issue at the time of his family emergency, and regardless, as a business owner, I would hope that contingencies would be in place for business to proceed in the case of such an event. I would have happily talked to someone else to resolve the issue, but only David was able to issue the check. (The check was his stipulation. I said I was happy with cash, check, or Venmo/PayPal/Zelle.) I kept asking for a plan, getting promised updates or a resolution at specific times, then not hearing anything at said times, leaving it back on me to follow up. Again. And again. I eventually was given the full 20% refund by going in person on my lunch break when David happened to be there, but I never received any form of apology during any part of this process for any portion of it. In fact, I was rather left with the impression that I was being a hassle for following up each time a commitment was not met. Honestly, I try not to assume maliciousness when I can assume incompetence. I don't know if the dragging of the feet was intentional in the hopes that I would drop it, or if this component of running the business just isn't a priority. But either way, it was disrespectful to me."

"The space was beautiful & clean & everyone was super welcoming! My class with Cassie was 10/10!! Great energy, super challenging but not miserable, playlist full of bangers & I loved the way boxing was incorporated. Purchased the year long membership as the prices are very reasonable and competitive with similar style gyms in the area. My only complaint would be that I’d rather eat a bowl of nails than do mountain climbers BUT I believe that’s a personal issue I can overcome."
