Samuel Preschool is a nurturing and inclusive school located at 320 North Forsyth Boulevard in Clayton, Missouri. With over 50 years of experience, we offer preschool programs for children aged 2 to 5 years old. Our secular curriculum is designed to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for children of all backgrounds. Our loving teachers focus on fostering social skills such as sharing, communication, and conflict resolution, while encouraging children to explore their interests through play.
Our morning classes run from 9 a.m to 11:45 a.m for 2-year-olds and 9 a.m to 12 noon for children ages 3 to 5, with extended day options available. Qualified and experienced teachers lead developmentally appropriate activities, emphasizing learning through exploration and experimentation. Children become part of a caring classroom community, where they can take learning risks and grow their understanding of the world.
The Parent Association meets regularly to provide support to the school and create a space for communication among parents. Special events and visits from local educators and entertainers enhance the preschool experience for children and families. "I can’t say enough good things about this school! This school is absolutely amazing! The Director, Mrs. Jane, is a Godsend! She’s so awesome and understanding and definitely put the kids first!! She will work with you as much as she can and she goes out of her way! The teachers are so amazing! My son’s teachers, Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Becky are beyond amazing! They care so much about the kids! They definitely extend the love of a mother to the kids! I wish my son could continue going there for many more years lol, but because of them, I know he will do just fine when he starts kindergarten! Don’t hesitate to send your children to Samuel! "As parents, we wanted to find a preschool program that would encourage a love of learning and foster social skills for our little preschooler. Samuel has met - and many ways exceeded - these expectations by allowing the children to explore the classroom, develop their curiosity and be social with a great group of children from around the area. Additionally, we've been very excited about the the friendly atmosphere we've experienced with other families - seeing the other parents at school functions or during pickup/drop-off makes setting up play dates easy. Lots of programs are available, but I believe Samuel preschool is one of the best in the area."
