Carthage Municipal Park

"This place is more of a kid skating rink I highly dont reccommend experienced skaters to come here. The "floor gaurds" are teenagers who are no more then 13yr olds. It is way out of control. Kids running into other kids and knocking kids down. When someone falls down they dont even help kids up. I dont feel like the games are ran good. I dont feel like the "help" should be allowed to play games. I have a 92 A wheel on my skates and i was sliding so bad. The floor needs resurfaced BAD. I fell and i had other customers helping me up instead of staff. The concession area is to small not enough seats. I dont mind supporting local business but i can not support somewhere, that teens run the floor. They need a older teen that knows and wants to skate or a adult to run the floor... we have traveled to many many skating rinks between Kansas City, Pittsburg, Jefferson City, Wichita, Oklahoma City, Branson for speed skating and we stay for sessions and nothing this out of control."

"You can smell the Porta potty in the air. This park NEEDS attended to! 1 slide has a whole section missing. Others are very cracked at the bottom to where your kiddos could get hurt. The smaller playground the bridge is rotting away and falling apart. There are other things missing off the playground that need replaced. Old basketball goal or something near the parking lot by the pool. Broken off and rusted out. The main bathrooms you can't access and windows are busted out in them."

"The coolest most interactive park ever! Tons to do and very unique. There are several things here that I've never seen before like a merry-go-round that's flush with the flat ground and a swing on a track. 5 out of 5 stars!!"

"Wow! This park is amazing. The kids could play on the huge play set forever. I only wish my city had a set like this one. If you have kids under 13 then go here to expend some of that energy. The teens would probably enjoy it too. Thank you @carthage !!!"
