"Dr. Beatty has been seeing my adult autistic son for the past two years. She is reliable, kind, supportive, and respectful. Dr. Beatty has given my son many practical coping skills to improve his day-to-day life. She also gives me recommendations to be a more effective parent. Kylea is always on top of scheduling and billing and has always worked us in quickly when we needed an extra appointment between sessions. I highly recommend Dr. Beatty and Touchstone Counseling!"

"I have personally known Dr. Cindy Baker for 12 years. She is very professional and always advocating for her client’s mental health. Her business is upscale and she hand selects her providers with the same ethics she holds herself. She has done so much for the profession and plays a huge role with Missouri state counciling. I have admired her community involvement with non-profit organizations."

"We love Ms. Laura Curtis. She has been our family counselor for the past 2 years and has done amazing things in all of our lives. The facility is inviting and clean. The staff make my 5, 8, and 11 year old comfortable. I highly recommend."

In her care I feel safe, understood and at times challenged. Laura and all of the staff at Touchstone Counselling have helped me to become the kind of person I want to be. Their guidance is invaluable, and I will be forever grateful. Thank you for directing me towards getting my life back."

"Edit- I am adding a star for customer service. Dr Baker, the owner, called to apologize and make it right which I appreciate. I rarely leave reviews but I visited this office one time and will never be going back. The building itself was VERY nice and reception was friendly. However my experience with Dr. Beatty was not pleasant. First, her office was a wreck. Stacks and piles of books, magazines, and clutter all over the floor. It was very distracting and unprofessional, she even commented on it when she brought me into the room. When we sat down, she asked me what brought me in and I told her that my dad had committed suicide last week. She sat back, tossed her head in the air and said “I’ve ALWAYS said that is the most selfish thing anyone could ever do!” in a way that sounded like she was scolding him and annoyed with him. Probably the worst thing you could say to someone who just lost their own dad to this horrible mental illness. Especially since I don’t even think that about him, but she didn’t even take the time to see how I felt about it first. It was impossible then for me to feel comfortable and open up. At the end, she took me to the front desk to find a time for our next appointment and told the receptionist to just pencil me in on top of an appointment that already existed, saying “If he doesn’t have insurance I KNOW he doesn’t have money” so was assuming that it was going to be canceled? I’ve never had this big of a train wreck in therapy before."
