"I have been dealing with Carter jewelers for about 10 years. I have always been treated with complete honesty. I have sold him gold, and he always has explained what the market was, and what he was paying. I took a 10k gold ring to another shop, and was given $9. Gary has always paid top price. Gary has always been completely honest with me. I have made it a point to let him know about April what I am wanting to get for my children for Christmas, and he has never let me down. He owns the building, and inventory, so his price is about 20 to 50% less than the other stores. He is second generation in that location, and is well respected by the other local businessmen. People dismiss him because of his tattoos, but he is trained in jewelry design and has many years experience. He spends 12 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week working on jewelry. After reading the review posted by someone that would not leave a name, I had to set the story straight. A 10K gold ring is not worth that much, and I have never seen him being rude to any customer. If someone threatens him he has every right to call the police. Do not believe that bad review from someone that was angry and trying to take it out on him."
