"This store has improved so much since Don has become the manager. He’s so caring with the customers, his employees talk good about him, and they seem always happy to be at work. A huge difference between the other stores sad to say. I’m not sure if these are owned by the same people or not. But I’m thankful for this store and all the employees!"
"Cashier and Manager were extremely rude at the Springfield Ave location. I asked to take an item off because I didn’t bring enough money with me and thought I had enough because wrong shelf tag said something different. Cashiered acted like it was such an inconvenience to take it off and Manager was the same. Won’t go back to that location again."
"Employee was not helpful when i asked for help. I was on my mobility scooter, looking for a product i had seen advertised on TV. Employee said they had never heard of it. Go look on aisle 2. Aisle 2 was not accessible due to empty boxes and a display. I again returned to the employee for help. I was told again how she had already told me she had never heard of the product instead of helping me with access. I just left."
"The staff is always incredibly friendly, and very helpful. I would have given it 5 stars, but sometimes it feels a little cluttered, which sometimes makes it difficult, to find the things, for which you are looking. However, those same employees, are more than willing to walk with you, to show you exactly where the item you're looking for, is located. I would absolutely recommend them to my friends."
"Well, it's Dollar general. The one in Bolivar Missouri on Springfield avenue is my go-to place for a quick in and out. I've seen my share of nice cashiers and work staff. I've also seen my share of those that should not be working with a type of crude attitude. If I'm writing the store for prices then yes it's a good place to get quick things and get out. If I were going to rate the people, that may be a different story."
