"The Pettis County Extension Center is a wonderful place to go and be a part of the community. I go there every week and see what is going on in the office and what the community has to offer. They have events with 4H where people in the community can get involved and be a part of the community and something that brings people together. I was helping out at public speaking to see what happens and what the office has to offer. It was going on in the office across from the main office. There were kids that had to give speeches and talk about a certain topic. One was about water, which is an interesting topic to talk about. There are so many things that are associated with water, but being able to put it into a speech so it makes sense which is tough, but the person did a very good job of it. The other topic was clothes. Which again, is a tough topic unless you can put it all together, which the person did and it made sense when it all came together. The office has great people working there as well and they are able to answer questions and give out information on topics, 4H projects and all things Mizzou related. Highly recommend talking to them if you have kids interested or just to see what events are going on."
