Pinewood Park Apartmen

"I lived there for 9 LONG years! Am disabled and thought it would be a nice place to live because of two perks; free cable and a pool in the summer. The then landlady, Cheryl, was like Jekyll and Hyde. Nice to your face and the opposite once you turned your back. I think they went through at least 3-4 maintenance men, Cheryl and other staff members would talk about other resistance. She was rude, disrespectful and a pain. She was also very nosey. When I moved out after 9 years, she charged me for unpaid rent (which I always paid on time), and nickle and dimed me for everything! I had to make monthly payments until it was paid off. I think she pocketed a lot of that money. The apartments were ok, but I felt I lived in a cave. There's a new land lady, so I hope it's better now. Unless things have changed drastically, save your money and find another place to rent!"

"If you’re thinking about getting an apartment here.. don’t. They have really rude management, they will charge you for fees that are not from you and don’t report mistakes on their part. They are very low income and most of their machines don’t work. When we moved in the screen door to the balcony was broken, and the bathtub drain didn’t work I have had multiple problems living there. The neighbors are very disruptive, maintenance takes forever to get back to you, it’s dangerous they don’t think issues like leaking water heaters is a “big deal,” Had no hot water for a whole week. The people that own them are super shady. All in all I don’t recommend it at all."

"Absolutely horrendous. Management is rude. Property is grimey. Maintenance requests take entirely too long. Parking lot is atrocious with potholes."

"New management doesn't do anything to do for the residents. They wanted an elderly man to buy a computer. Because they want to be able to send his water bill through email(which he doesn't have email). They wont even do as much as to print the water bill and put it in his mailbox. Neighbors are loud and obnoxious at some complex's... Updated review that previous management is no longer present and I am so far liking this one slightly better as they seem to be more involved putting on prizes for decorations and things but there are still some issues, rent was raised for 3 bedrooms apartments and would like there to be a more accessible entrance to the apartments as some have steps that are hard. Need to make at least on side of each apartment building a ramp to help out the elderly."

"Richard Smith is telling the truth.. I currently live in pinewood and definitely DO NOT recommend anyone to rent from these apartments.. maintenance DOES NOT do anything when you complain, they give you the run around when you complain about something in your apartment. We have lived here since October and have been fighting with Cheryl about a mold problem that they have yet to fix. The only thing they did for us was give us spray. We have had to ask them to fix multiple things multiple times. They say they will put a work order in, but they never do. The current maintenance man said he ordered a part for our balcony door, and this was about 2 weeks ago..have yet to see him come back and actually fix the door. There is always a new maintenance man... they can never keep the same ones for long. My son was also diagnosed with asthma and he did NOT have asthma when we moved in. I would take your business elsewhere."
