"We recently sold our home and used this company. I took the pictures myself and sent them to our realtor, a move in ready house that took NO work from the realtor. Our realtor took about 4-10 days to respond each time, never answering questions that had been asked and not notifying us of any changes that were going on with lenders/appraisers etc. We found out last minute that our closing date had been changed, that certain papers had "accidentally" not been signed and that our seller had asked for privileges that we were never informed about and we also hadn't been given copies of the contract that we'd asked for MULTIPLE times. The realtor and the realty company locked us out of the house TWICE. The first time, our realtor had to climb through a window after I'd said I wasn't driving back 2 hours for something that wasn't my fault. The second time, all windows had been locked and we had to call a company out of Sedalia to come fix the error. When I told the realtor, it too was completely overlooked, no apology or offering to reimburse. So, we called the realty company itself and were met with apologies and promises to correct the wrongdoings. Well, things got worse from here. We were then told that our inspection/appraisal hadn't even been completed, and that it could delay our already pushed back closing further. She said that it was taking appraisers 45-50 days because they were so backed up. So I personally called the appraiser and she'd informed me that our paperwork had just come across her desk the previous week with a due date of June 19th. Ten days after our closing was scheduled for. I explained the issue and she IMMEDIATELY went and did the appraisal, saying she'd been over there several times and could've done it then had she been given correct information. I called the realty company back and was told that due to the type of loan the buyer had, utilities needed to be turned back on. When we moved out, we gave our realty company permissions to turn utilities off and on. Thinking the inspections and necessary things had been done in a timely manner, we turned the utilities off after we had left the house vacant for almost 2 months. I told the realty company that they needed to turn them on themselves and they could pay the fees that MMU and Liberty Utilities would be charging since this was their eff up. After being told this was our issue, my husband told them we'd no longer be paying them their portion of the realtor fees as they'd quite literally done NOTHING other than cost us money, time and anxiety. They could not understand why we didn't want to pay them!!!! The only thing they'd done were not returning calls, SCREENING calls, ignoring questions and emails and being ignorant to basic customer service. We turned to Debbie Rogers and Beverly at Beverly Real Estate and all I can say is thank God for these women. They helped us finish out our home selling process, keeping in contact the entire time and immediately notifying us of changes. They did more for us in a week than Marshall Realty did in 2 1/2 months. Save yourself the trouble."

"No set business hours, hard to get ahold of certain people. Don't care about upkeep on rental properties. And after I moved out after a divorce I asked for my deposit back (since I lived there before the marriage) and instead they just let him live there without paying his own deposit. I didn't get the deposit due to what my ex did... Not me. I took care of the house. Now they aren't answering their phone."

"They should not even get a star at all. If you have any smarts at all you will take this advice and stay clear away for PRW and Marshall Reality. They will not give anyone there deposits back on the homes you rent. I found out the hard way. Lessen learned on my part. If you do work for them they will not pay you. They will rip you off. Worst place possible to go for anything. They also don't want to pay from the work that people do on there homes. I just sided a hole house and put doors in and no money. They are robbing the contractors and then turning around and getting payed for selling the home. They get money from both side's. If I had the money I would file the paperwork to put a lean on or sue them. Hope people get wise with this company."

"The closing was fast but we believe we were lied to in regard to foundation. Please make sure you don't just accept a "The foundation guy said it was OK." Make sure you get outside written reports from someone who is not a friend to someone there."
