"Went into clarkson as I needed new glasses and contacts and I have only ever purchased my glasses and contacts through clarkson. I walk into the lemay location and they are open until 6 I get there at about 525 as I don’t get off until 5. I am greeted and they ask how can the help me. I tell them I just need to order new glasses and contacts. The store manager continues to say that in the future I need to arrive at least an hour before closing to order glasses and contacts because of how long it takes to put the info in the computer. I have never been told this before and did not see it posted that the sales service side of clarkson closes and hour before close the rest of it. But I hurry through and found a pair of frames and order. Fast forward I go to pick my frames up. It is now that I am told the frames that I picked out and purchased could not be adjusted in anyway. Lesson learned to ask ahead of time next time. I wear the glasses home. After two hours of wearing these glasses I realized they weren’t going to work. I called the next day and they told me to bring my glasses in and they could look into exchanging them. I found a new pair that I liked and when we went to order these I noticed there was a price difference. I asked since these frames were a good amount cheaper than the other ones how I would receive money back. I was told they could not give me any money back because they were out the cost for the other lenses for the glasses I brought back but that I could talk to the manager who had already left for the day. I finished my order and left. Upon picking up my new pair of glasses which I love I ask for the manager. The manager was not in and I told the man about the issue I had. He said he would leave a note for the manager to call. The manager calls me back the next day. 5 mins before the store closes for the day to tell me that she could not refund me my whole refund but could refund me half is is since they would be out the cost of the lenses from the original pair. What is clarksons return and exchange policy because how can you decide to only give someone half of their money back???"

"I tore a contact in the morning but didn't realize it till I got to work. I couldn't continue with it so I drove over there to hopefully get a disposable one day contact. They happily called my regular location to get my prescription. The doctor gave me an equivalent of my prescription and it was a two-week pair also. All for no charge. Excellent customer service which is hard to find now days. Strongly recommended this location."
