"Horrible, absolutely horrible. Disrespectful from the receptionist all the way up to the doctor. I wouldn't bring my dog here. I had to walk out. The guy doctor was so disrespectful and sat there and argued with me for 15 minutes. Please do yourself a favor and never come here, if you need help go anywhere and I mean anywhere else."

"We will never come here again. Very disrespectful. Dr Baalman told me my addiction is what caused me to be sick. How hilarious is this considering the only thing I do is smoke tobacco. I was told yesterday from a very sweet dr I have cellulitis. Came back today and was called a junkie. Unbelievable. Did he not check for drug use in the blood and urine that was collected before he came in assuming I do drugs.. why? ..because I have tattoos?? Nope. We will not be back."

"I have never been treated more poorly than when my family went here. We had a newborn with a broken arm due to an older sibling falling on him, amd the instant we were checked in, we were deemed "child abusers". As if us sobbing and making a scene from our sweet baby being in pain wasn't enough- The looks we recieved from literally every single nurse and staff there could've killed. Even after the x-rays and full body x-rays proved the story to be true, we were told it was an open closed case, it didn't make a difference. They apparently should have announced it on the intercom that we were cleared. We felt judged, and made to feel like we weren't capable parents, even tho this was the first er visit with 4, 4 and under. They should be ashamed of themselves, from the lady at the front desk, to the nurses on their desk computers gossiping and rolling their eyes. Never will we step foot in a Cox facility again. I truly hope this is mentioned to the staff and no one is made to feel like this again. Accidents happen people, sheesh. Surely you guys of all people would have understood that."

"So I normally don't leave reviews but I feel like something needed to be said. I went into the ER late Friday night because I was having issues and advised to go there. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and was told they'd be able to send me to Springfield if anything was wrong. They checked my vitals in triage, stuck me in a room with nothing in it where I was checked up on maybe twice. The Dr put a stethoscope to my stomach and that's all they did, I get they dont have an OB section anymore but surely they could have done more. I also heard the nurses gossiping about other patients there, when talking about me they said my vitals were stable (again only checked me in triage) and made comments about my miscarriages and giggled. I ended up refusing the ambulance, going to Mercy and got much better care. Turns out I was having contractions and my body was trying to go into early labor. I will not be returning to any Cox facilities and I'd give you zero stars if possible. Entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth and strongly recommend against going through them as they clearly don't care about their patients."

"Do not go here. How much longer will this go unchecked??? It is quite alarming what the Drs are getting away with at this specific ER. I went in with a miscarriage and they told me it was a period. (miscarriage confirmed by other medical professionals prior to and after the ER experience) I brought my two-year-old in who had 104.6 fever and they told me she was just fine and that she could have a high fever for up to seven days and there would be nothing to worry about. She ended up having a raging ear infection I found out later through her primary care. Went in just the other day with very specific allergies and breast-feeding and they gave me a medication I was allergic to and that you can’t take while breast-feeding. Took my close friend in one day for excruciating lower abdominal pain and they told us in a very demeaning tone that I was overreacting (I’m a very calm person) and that he was faking it before doing any checks at all to make sure it wasn’t something serious… I personally know several people who have also had very horrendous life-threatening experiences at this ER."
