"We recently updated to a new insurance provider thru Huffmaster Insurance Agency. Approximately 6 weeks in, we sustained a power surge from a lightning strike, which in itself is scary enough. This caused burn marks on the window and burn marks on the weather head. The plaster in one section near the window was blown 10 ft across the room, the nails in the sheetrock lifted a half inch out of the wall. It blew the switch out of the surge protector and fried our TV, modem, router, computer and garage opener. They contacted the adjuster who came out, inspected the damage and filed a claim for us. Very soon afterwards, we received a check minus the deductible to get all the damage repaired. A week or two after cashing the insurance check, I tried to use my six needle embroidery machine (which I had flipped the power on while the adjuster was here, and the lights came on, so I assumed it was fine) but when I attempted to actually sew with it, it came up with an error message indicating a power surge. I sent a message to the adjuster to let him know and sent a copy of the error message. I took the machine to the authorized brother dealer in Springfield,and they had to replace the main control boards, a fairly expensive repair. We sent the invoice for that repair to Karen and within just a few days had a check covering the repairs. I am so impressed with both my agent, Karen and the agency, Huffmaster and the way they took care of us during this stressful event. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an insurance company with personal service. E. Frey"
