"Recently completed therapy for my hip replacement with SERC on Main and Gregory in KCMO. Andreanna was my main therapist with Faith also playing a role in my recovery. Both were very patient with me and were able to answer any questions or concerns I had..as well as giving me solutions. The entire office was very friendly, making it a comfortable place to go when I may not have been feeling the greatest. There were days I didn't feel like doing the therapy, but staff was supportive in pushing me through my therapy in order to assure I was staying on track for recovery. "Faith Rolen was the physical therapist who worked with me for over four months after my rotator cuff surgery. I’d had a full tear and detachment, along with several smaller tears, and I’d gone five months between the accident and surgery, so I was extremely weak to start with. Faith had a challenge; but now, at my six-month mark post-surgery, I just finished a two-day kayak trip, and cut up a 30-foot tree that fell in my yard. My arm is back in use again. How’d she do it? Professional knowledge—Along with her own training and experience, she has detailed resources at her fingertips for finding the right therapies to start building back muscle and flexibility. She also makes print-outs of new exercises that I can do at home on off days, and she encourages me to do my homework. She’s perceptive—She makes sure I have the right form to achieve best results, and she pays attention to my non-verbal feedback (like grimacing) to tell when something might be hurting. She’s constantly monitoring. She’s patient—When I’ve griped or been disheartened and negative, she’s stayed even keel, uniformly attentive, supportive, and kind. After my surgery I knew I wanted a functional right arm again, but I’d done sports all my life and figured I didn’t need a professional therapist.
