"Love doctor Horwitz but score 0 for radiology’s ability to schedule MRI even after approval and repeated phone calls. No call backs per promises. Dealing with cancer and they have not been at all responsive. Even my MD says they have same service from group. Horrible! Would recommend to no one!"
"The clinic is nice, clean, & inviting. Definitely an upgrade from the old clinic. Dr Park is knowledgeable & friendly. Answered all of my questions but always very rushed trying to get to all of his patients. His assistant was helpful but could have smiled once & showed she enjoyed her job... maybe it was a bad day. It's not just KCUC, healthcare practitioners in general need to slow down & start caring about the person again. We are your customer & I am paying you to help me!"
"I have been going to KCUC-NKC Dr.Herrick for about 4 years. Dr. Herrick is a very nice and caring doctor. He's very professional and very thorough. He explains things so that I can understand them. I would recommend Dr.Herrick to anyone. The ladies that work at the front desk are all really nice. I don't ever have to wait more then 10 minutes to see the doctor."
"If you have fear, anxiety, embarrassment, or past bad urological experiences, I wouldn't recommend them. If it wasn't for the lovely women working the front desk and check out desks, I would rate my experience lower. I saw Nurse Practitioner Ashley. (She didn't say hello or introduce herself, I had to ask.) I told her how nervous I was, "Why? We're just going to talk." (This was not said in a reassuring manner.) We didn't just talk. It was quick, it was awkward, it was whatever. The following 10 minute conversation was rushed, and many of my questions had a curt, If not condescending, response. I referenced my phones notes, asking for a few more minutes of her time, and realized my talk to text had picked up part of our conversation. When I apologized for scrolling so long, NP Ashley informed me that if I was going to record our conversation, I had to notify her prior to the beginning and get her consent. (BTW This is incorrect. Any individual is allowed to record personal visits with their medical providers without prior authorization. Because America.) Moot point because I wasn't recording, but I'll admit I was insulted, feeling vulnerable, and more than a little frustrated. I grabbed my stuff, and was admittedly a bit snarky when I stated that she obviously had something more pressing to do, and I wouldn't want to keep her any longer. She graciously informed me that she would be escorting me down the lone hallway to the check out, despite my protests that I was fully capable of making my own way. I mean ... I could see it. Now, Liz was *absolutely wonderful* at check out. She could tell that I was flustered and visibly upset, found a different person for a follow-up appointment, and provided the name/info of the manager. No paperwork, no notes, no referrals, no idea what I'm supposed to be doing until the next appointment. Maybe somebody will call, maybe not. If I do go back and I have a better experience, I'll update this. Fail"
"Dr. Herrick has an incredible "bedside manner". He is so caring, thoughtful knowledgeable. And, the women in front are efficient and pleasant. The only real complaints I have are: the referral desk DOES NOT call back even if a doctor makes the call(3 times) and I called twice. I finally had to drive to the office to get my initial appointment. And, they sometimes run late, nearly an hour yesterday. But Dr. Herrick is worth the wait. So, I guess that isn't a complaint."
