"First of all I’ve been a long time Brighton collectibles customer for three decades. Today I counted 35 pairs of shoes in my closet and three purses and countless pieces of jewelry. In December 2023 i visited Brighton collectibles in the West County mall. My sales person Kathy has always been terrific all these years to me. Unfortunately, she was not there and my transaction was handled by the assistant manager. I cannot believe how poorly I was treated. I had spent several hundred dollars online and wanted to return some shoes that didn’t fit and readers that weren’t strong enough. She would not let me return them. The next day I called Kathy and asked for the district managers, phone number to call her directly to explain what happened. I am a regional manager of a large radio network and customer service for us is number one. So I figured they are district manager would want to know. I left 2 polite long messages for the St. Louis District manager, who never returned the calls. Then I called the Brighton collectibles home office and left a detailed message. I tried to be as polite as possible again but no one returned my calls. I unfortunately will never shop at Brighton again. I know I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars over the last 35 years. And it’s very sad because I really love all their items. But it’s the principle of the thing, . I will not patronize someone who does not respect or care about their most loyal customers."
