"I would recommend this place because of the staff. they are so kind and so caring and so nice. I’ve had the best care here. It’s like one big family here. The nursing staff know what they are doing. Sonya the tech has been amazing as well as Michelle and Phyllis the nurses, and Jaimie the Respiratory Therapist, and Connie in Rehab, and Trisha the Patient Advocate….everyone! They have treated me like family. I appreciate everything. This place is amazing!"

"I've waited one week since my discharge so that my opinion wasn't influenced by the euphoria of going home after a long hospitalization. I have two words, TOP NOTCH. The facility, and the people exceeded my every expectation. I was transferred from Mercy South on a Monday night, and what could have been a very traumatic event was eased by a staff that was ready to receive me. They quickly got me settled with all of the necessary tasks, and were very welcoming. They answered my questions, and gave me the lay of the land so to speak. Everyone that I encountered went above and beyond to make sure that I got the care that I needed. The Physical Therapy staff was understanding, reassuring, and encouraging. They did their jobs without judgement, or pressure. They even listened to me about an ailment that I had nothing to do with their primary mission, and they helped me with that. The key there was that they listened. That's a common thread that ran throughout the people that were tasked with my care, they all listened to me, and we found solutions together. From the doctor to the housekeeping staff, they all listened, and solutions were found together. I know what it's like to be laying in a hospital bed and reading reviews of perspective extended care/skilled nursing facilities at 3:00 a.m., worried and hoping that they were accurate. I cannot recommend Kindred South any more highly, and extend my gratitude to them for the exceptional care that I received any deeper."
