"I went in for the first time to give my boot & pumps. The owner was nice, we even had a decent conversation. Today, when I came back to pick up my shoes, he gave me the nastiest attitude because I didn’t have my ticket. He said he also texted me, but I told him that I didn’t get it. So I search my texts and nothing showed up. I told him that I have my ID that I can just give him my name…after reprimanding me and wasting time, he reluctantly ask for my last name (another customer walked in). Seemingly annoyed, he brought my shoes and slammed them on the counter. I kingly ask if he has a bag that I can put them in. He snapped at me that he can only do one thing at a time and that he will once he is done checking me out of the system. I told that that I’m sorry that it’s my first time there. He said “well, it’s your second time, you had to come to drop the shoes.” The funny thing is, we pay for the service before dropping he starts any repairs. I had brought another pump for repair but I kindly told him that he is pretty rude and I’m taking my shoes back with me and I’m not coming back. In return he said “well, that’s the door.” The customer behind me was dumbfounded with her eyes wide open at the way he was snapping at me."

"Called shop while here for work. Needed new heel savers. Impromptu visit. I was cheerfully greeted. Owner showed me the incorrect install by previous cobbler. While I waited for my repair in the store, I noticed three other patrons being cheerfully greeted and helped. Each picked up shoes. It was good to see the rapport with others who used the cobbler's shop. It's been a week since my boots received heel savers. No issues. Very happy with the service I received from an articulate and knowledgeable cobbler. Highly recommend! This was my experience."

"Ignore the negative reviews - they restored my all-time favorite leather boots that were seriously worn out in a number of ways. They did excellent work. I actually brought them to a different shoe repair place before coming here, and that place turned me away and said nothing could be done about any of the issues (tear in the leather, rough edges, heel problems). Cobblestone addressed every issue and the boots look amazing. Worth every penny."

"I brought two pairss of men's dress shoes here for repair. I was hesitant to have one of them worked on, as the repair was nearly what I paid for the shoes. I just picked them up and they look great! It was worth it even with the cheaper pair because they look like new, but with a better heel. My Cole Hahn pair look like they will easily go another three years. As for reviews that complained about the owners customer service, I found him to be chatty and pleasant. I got my shoes back a day early, and it was quick and easy."
