"THE ONLY DOCTORS I TRUST. Dr. Andelin is the best doctor I've ever seen and I've seen him several times. He always makes me feel safe, heard, and in control of my body. He doesn't talk down to me, he talks to me like his friend, like we're a team and we're going to solve this problem together. I know if I get a general practitioner and they treat me badly or don't listen I know Aurora ER will take care of me, always. After all the trauma I've been through with other medical professionals, it's comforting to know there really are doctors in this world that will be there for me. They didn't become doctors for money, they became doctors to help people. Rossco at the front desk is really nice and makes sure you get seen. Dr creg was patient and understanding even when I was at my worst mentally. I've been coming here off and on for 4 years, mostly for problems with mold poisoning but none of us knew that at the time, simply because they're aren't really tests for it, but they actually believed me when no one else did! They really do everything to try and get you well. Last few times I was there was for PTSD. Dr gilf put me in a special room away from the noises of the machines and had a nurse come to check my vitals every hour. The nurses and Dr gilf were so kind and got me on some meds that are making life so much easier. Even recommend a book so I can understand why my body is doing what it does with stress and recommend emdr to get well. Aurora ER is my lighthouse. Best time to come is afternoon or after 6 pm to see these great folks."

"I want to leave a review for the manager(Dr)(Mrs)(Miss)? Ginger Otto. My son had been seen here for a broken hand. Was referred to ortho for possible surgery. We were having an issue with an insurance authorization afterwards between ortho and tricare. After waisting hours talking with tricare, ortho, er I went to get help from Ginger. She spent 2-3 hours making phone calls to get us help. I want to say thank you, it meant the world to my family. Also, this ER has always been the fastest at getting seen, we have never had to wait long. The people there are always so nice. Between kids breaking bones at school to car accidents it seems like I'm here every 6 months, they have been great everytime."

"The Mercy Emergency treatment in Aurora, MO on August 19, 2020 saved my life. I was taken by ambulance from Ava, MO to the Mercy ER in Springfield, MO with a temp of 104 degrees. I was put in a wheel chair and moved to a hallway and ask to wait for 6 to 10 hours after having already waited for 3 hours with no treatment. My son drove me to the Aurora ER, in our private vehicle, and when we arrived at the ER I was immediately taken to a bed and tested for covid-19. The covid test was negative. I was immediately started on fluids, antibiotics,, etc. as I had "sepsis". Several hours later, I was stabilized and transported back to the intensive care unit at Mercy in Springfield. The ER doctor and staff (at Aurora) saved my life as I would have never made the 6 to 10 hour wait in Springfield. Thank you Aurora ER for saving my life. I realize that someone age 77 is not high priority at the Mercy ER in Springfield, but thanks to the Aurora ER I am able to make this post."

"Went to the doctors in mount vernon with my 1 year old they wanted me to go to er for a chest xray and blood work. It took them 6 hours to call my son back for 2 simple tests checking for RSV ,influ ect. Didnt even offer a curtousy snack or meal for being kept over the dinner hour. (That must be a lost curtousy of the past) Amazing care , glad I took my pride and joy to your facilty. Not. Wont be comming back!! The nurses are aholes and the care is negligent. Treat your patients as you want to be treated or reevaluate the oath you took and profession you chose. Springfield location is way better."

"Here I am at the ER with my daughter, whom is twelve weeks pregnant. We tried going to Jordan Valley first, but my daughter had just went there one other time, and her care wasn't established yet. They wouldn't help her. So, we came to the ER. She had a hemorrhage, but is still really sick. The triage nurse at this ER told her "I don't know what you expect the ER to do." She can't eat, can not stand for more than a couple of minutes, is just plain sick, but apparently everyone thinks it should be someone else's problem. I hate our medical system, and I dislike rude nurses."
