"Their smoked meats are worth the trek. Don’t go for the service which is, just fine. My son and I were killing time in the area awhile back when we stopped in and chose steak fries. It was sliced smoked steak over seasoned fries with a white cheese sauce and chopped tomato, (green onion?) we shared it and still took about one third home to snack on later. I highly recommend doing this because it reminded me of how good it was!! We used what was left to make a couple soft tacos. Wow!! Second time I went, I took a different son and a good friend. We enjoyed our burgers! You get to choose your protein. We chose the smoked steak. (Brisket??) Oh! And we had garlic fried cheese curds which are the best version of cheese curds I’ve had! The restaurant is small and unassuming. It used to be a Dairy Kreme?? I think? A small white building that served ice cream like the old style Dairy Queen’s back in the 70’s. It now has an unusual extension on the building and a stained wood exterior. There is a bar in the center of the restaurant. They have street parking in the front and a tiny yet nice parking lot in the back. This place filled up pretty fast around 1pm on a Sunday. Good thing we got there at 12:30. I find the idea of their menu being Italian yet focused on smoked meats. The menu says they make their own pasta?? The ingredients are high quality and it’s apparent whoever created the menu simply loves food and so far has a great ability to decide which flavors go together well. Honestly, I didn’t expect the steak on our fries to be smoked steak. It’s an appetizer and I don’t think it indicated it was smoked. I’m curious about the other menu items and will be back."

"Great place to take the kids to blow off that crazy amount of energy they have. The splash pad is always a great time in the summer. Walking/biking around the ponds and seeing the wildlife is always a good time and others on the path are always friendly. In the winter the city has a great Christmas light show that you can drive through anytime for free so we take the kids a few times each year. All in all way to go Webb City and thank you for all the hard work that the guys from parks & recreation department put into this park!"

"My work takes me on road trips a big part of the time. I love it when I pass by a park when its time for a break. King Jack Park is one of the best parks in the area with a variety of things to do and lots of space to do nothing. We all need to spend more time outside under the open skies and let the stress blow away in the wind."

"I love the park. Walking trails are nice. Unfortunately old coal mines have drained the largest lake. They're talking about adding rock to stop the leak. Hopefully somebody will realize they need an even layer of packed clay. I'm sure somebody in Webb City has built a pond before"
