Econo Lodge Truman Inn

"Ok, I've been to many hotels some are better some are worse. This hotel is awesome. It's kind of vintage, one you see in 1912 movies. It's not 100% perfect, but 100% acceptable. Had jacuzzi and pool. Rooms equipped with little safe about 45 inch TV, king bed , desk with 1 chair, little arm chair. It's an older hotel, so don't expect 2024 Marriott quality. Lady that checked me in were very friendly, polite and understanding. I arrived early (I was just dropped off at 11am) If I would be in the are I would definitely stop by again. Can't beet the price for the amenities and location."

"HORRIBLE!! We had too find a room for 1 night due to our furnace messing up the reservation was made through expedia the room itself was OK. No in-room microwave or refrigerator as listed on website. Pool was ok.. filthy in the pool area though got tin did not work and no sauna as listed on website also. Hallways freezing frost on doors and ends of them. The next morning at checkout I was told that the$38 I have them for a "deposit" the night before was not going to be given back to me because they say I should have been charged more for my 2 children ages 8 and 11 but when I go to expedia and reserve the same room with both children and ages it is the same price as what I was to be charged for this stay but they are still refusing to return my deposit. Absolutely nothing wrong with room except the pile of wet towels and unmade beds so no reason at all to keep the "deposit" that they now turned into a $40 fee for my 2 children. OUTRAGEOUS AND VERY UNSATISFIED HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!!!!"

"Stayed 2 nights at this hotel and everything was more than I expected. Beautiful hard wood floors and the bed was comfortable. Pool was perfect temperature and the hot tub was perfect! Highly recommend"

"The hotel definitely doesn’t look like the photos on their website. It looked way nicer online than it was in person. The interactions that I did have with the staff were friendly and we had no issues. The condition of the room was okay. There was what we *think* was maybe blood splatter on the wall, the anti-slip mat in the bathtub was peeling and the mini fridge smelt moldy but for the price, we made the best of the stay. It was quiet & the heater worked. There was me & another guy who waited to check out this morning but nobody was at the desk so we just put our key in the drop box & called it a day."

"Great stay! The rates were the best, bed was comfortable and room was clean! What more could you ask for in a stay. They have a swimming pool and breakfast even though I didn’t take advantage of, maybe next time! To cap it off, the customer absolutely was great! Thanks Econolodge!!!"
