"THIS IS NOT A HOTEL It is an rv park. Very nice owners. The sites are cement and mostly level. They have a few pull-thru sites and the rest are back-in. The neighborhood around the park is low income. Amtrac is across the street. We would stay here again."

"Yes, as per other reviews, the sites are quite narrow and there are a lot of trains. But the sites are all concrete with nice sized concrete patios and nice grassy areas between sites. The sewer is set low to the ground (almost recessed) for easy dumping. The roadway is asphalt, so no stones. The bathrooms are nicely updated and clean. We had to change our reservation 3 times and they were always friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Campus RV Park if you are in the area."
"Nice small campground with large level sites with concrete pads. The people who ran the office were extremely nice and helpful. Near all the sights in Independence, including the Truman Presidential Library. The bathrooms/showers were the nicest I’ve ever seen in any campground, anywhere! The showers were enormous, just like home. Everything was immaculate. The laundry room was very nice. Both bathrooms and laundry room were air conditioned! The WIFI was solid. Felt very safe. There was definitely train noise from a nearby train – but most of the time it didn’t bother us at all. There was once or twice that a single train blew its whistle about 15 times as it came through, but that seemed unusual – maybe it was an extra long train - ? The campground is owned by The Community of Christ, Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS). Independence Temple is right behind the campground. Yes, we would be happy to return."
