"The guy who came to our home was very nice and professional. He informed us of a hazard associated with our microwave/oven combo. He could see a wire hanging that he wasn't sure what it attached to. He said that wire could cause a spark/fire. Therefore, he said he would not put it back together even though the microwave was still working. A big thanks to him because we didn't realize we were using the microwave and it could've caught fire. This isn't our first experience with Appliance Guys and we will continue to call them when needed."

"I was pleasantly surprised with the speedy scheduling. I love the option to receive text confirmation from AG. So convenient. I was out of town the day the technician arrived and he worked with my husband. So I cannot comment on how that interaction went. I can tell you that it’s a few weeks later and we are experiencing the same issue with our top drawer sticking. I called the manufacturer again and they have created a ticket for AG to return. Will keep this review updated with the speed of scheduling and how they resolve this reoccurring issue. Hopefully this time the solution is accurate and final."

"Excellent from start to finish! I would highly recommend this company. They walked me through everything they were doing, explained so I could understand, answered all my questions. Very careful as they pulled each part out and tested instead of just guessing as I have had in the past. Very clean with their work! When it came time for the final decision, loved the honesty on recommendation knowing the dollar outcome and possible added dollars I could incur. Felt like they were for me not against me taking advantage to get my business. Time for a new Dryer. I will use Appliance Guys for other services they offer!"

"Rob was excellent. Replaced broken air condenser in my Frigidaire refrigerator. Rob communicated every step of the way, beginning with morning confirmation through repair completion. He was timely, friendly, knowledgeable, tidy and efficient. I highly recommend him for all refrigerator repair needs. Thank you Rob for great STL History/trivia and relatable stories."

"We had our timer mechanism go out on our dryer, and utilized this company to repair it. Initial diagnosis went fine, part was ordered and we were able to get on the schedule for repairs quickly enough. Our first tech repaired the timer mechanism part, left very shortly after the repair. We ran the dryer twice, and upon the second use, we immediately recognized that the timer mechanism was loose and was very clearly not secured correctly. (See picture, stem clearly not centered and was very loose) I attempted to call several times to report this, however never got through to the office. It took me physically going into the office to get back on the schedule for this to be fixed correctly. The office did rectify the situation immediately once I discussed with them in office and repair was done first thing the next morning. I called the office to share this review verbally and was told I’d receive a call from a service manager. They have not called. And now I have discovered that the last tech did not notice he knocked the dryer vent loose. I found out after I walked into a steamy laundry room, and I reattached myself. Giving 2 stars since there was a resolution, but low rating overall due to lack of detail, poor (and sometimes a lack of) response. For $350, I expect better. Next time I’ll just buy a new appliance rather than utilize this repair service, or contact someone different."
