I expected to need new brakes, but they told me the brakes still have about half their life left and that the squeak was from a little rust. I appreciate their honesty. "This is the most honest car repair shop you could hope for. Tom and his guys are knowledgeable and friendly. Tom always takes the time to explain what he's doing to customers. He makes recommendations based on what's right for the car and the customer, not what will make him money. Prices are extremely reasonable, and the work is always done well. The only downside: you usually have to schedule service a week out, since they are so busy. But that's a testament to how many people love this place! But in a pinch, they've let me stop by just on a moment's just to look at something, or do a quick emergency repair that didn't require a bay. I'm a customer for life!"
