El Agave Mexican Restaurant

"If I could give a zero I would. Please don’t go to this location. The owners are rude, racist and obnoxious. The food was absolutely horrible. The place was dirty I Saw bugs crawling around in the bathroom. It was just so nasty and I said something to the owners and the response they gave me was this is our restaurant I will do what we want. We don’t need your money. So please do not go to this restaurant. Do not give him any of your money. Do not waste your time. ADD ON TO OWNERS WONDERFUL RESPONSE!!! And please. Who writes your responses?? Just with what you responded shows your lack of professionalism. So I guess you have one of your children write it? Because NO NORMAL business owners would respond like this. And trust me I’m no one’s lackey. I did a review on what I OBSERVED while I was dining there. So your response being as childish as it is has no merit. I still WOULD STEER CLEAR OF THIS Establishment. If you see their response this is how they treat their customers !!!!!!! BEWARE ( this place use to be good so don’t know if some children own it now but it’s tanked bad)"

"I visited here twice while in town with my mother who goes often. The food is delicious. I had a taco salad one visit and the carnitas bowl the second visit. My mom had chimichangas for a change from her normal taco salad. I liked having the queso on the side for the taco salad which is different than most Mexican restaurants. The carnitas bowl what excellent! I would just get that every time. Perfect blend of rice, black beans, pork, pico, avocado, sour cream, and cheese (trying to remember ingredients). The server didn't understand my drink order the first visit and did not come by very much, but the second visit was better. My mom drinks a lot of margaritas from here! Thanks for keeping her fueled!"

"Inside is perfectly Mexican. Bright lively colors. Tons of seating. Clean and well spaced dining area. Huge menu with all the traditional favorites. Food was served quickly. Margs come in two sizes and were very good. Service was a little slow, but not problematic. Casual. Consistently good food. Good portions and reasonable prices. Recommend if you like authentic Mexican."

"We decided to drive from Eureka to try something different than the Mexican places there. Worth every second of the 10 minute drive. The food is excellent. The taco beef was much better than the typical watered-down browned beef. It had a good seasoning to it. Street tacos (chicken) good. "Would have em again" says my wife. "The best chimichanga I've ever had " the 1st chimichanga my daughter has ever had. She says she will get it again next time."
