"Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and mashed potatoes with white gravy. I waited which was fine. But the only thing remotely warm was the chicken fried steak with room temp potatoes and gravy. It just wasn’t worth the $12 for lunch. If I ever go back I will try the breakfast menu."
"My family really does love this place! This is our go-to place for a weekend breakfast! I always get the Monaco and it’s the perfect amount of food, sometimes a little too much! I’ve never had a bad meal or bad service in this place. The waitresses are always super friendly and really helpful."
"First time eating here. We heard good things & they weren't wrong. Food was really good. Waitress was so nice and friendly. She made us feel like regulars. The building and atmosphere is minimal and nothing special,although we enjoyed reading all the advertisements for local businesses on the table tops. Carrot cake was delicious."
"Stopped in for dinner during our one night in Carthage. Pretty quiet for dinner, but really enjoyed the food in this old-school diner. Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and peas was one of the specials so I had to get it. Awesome comfort food. Great meatloaf and gravy. The meal wasn't heavy at all. We also ordered beef barley soup. So good on a chilly night. Super clean inside and the friendly service. The prices are beyond reasonable."
