"Wonderful meal, so glad we stopped on our way through instead of doing fast food. Everyone there was so nice. Food was hot, fast, and excellent price. Definitely stopping again."

"Food service and customer service has gone downhill since the late 90's early 2000's. When I get asked about meeting up and eating there I don't get excited like I used to it's more of "let's find something else." It's sad that it's changed so much the gravy for biscuits and gravy isn't homemade anymore (you can tell the difference) the biscuits arent fluffy they are a few degrees shy of being over cooked. The cooks don't try it's more of a "It's a pay check." And you can tell no one really likes their job there. They don't try waitresses hardly come by to refill drinks. There's so much gossip and complaining from the waitresses in the front dinning room you can hear the conversations. The owners need to pay more attention and take more interest into customers and staff and start listening. Instead of just ignoring the place. The restaurant has potential to come back to how it was the owners just need to start caring again!"

"54 cafe. Big place, lots of seating, nice bathroom. Water had a bad taste to it. Meal took a while to get, they were busy on a Friday morning. Stopped for breakfast while on a road trip. Really good ham, good portion of hashbrowns, sausage gravy was good, pancakes a little tough, homemade biscuits were very good. Service was average to a bit above average. Really good ham."

"Love the place. First time here. I ordered the chef salad. Came out wonderful, everything fresh, and the perfect temp. I hate really cold salads. My husband ordered a chili dog and full order of curly fries. Chili dog was wonderful and the curly fries was a full basket! They do have a half. He will know better next time. Great waitstaff. Our waitress went in break and another one stopped by to make sure we didn't need anything. Our waitress had already made sure everything was taken care if before she went in her break."
