"If you like the old school drive in, this is your place! I've loved this place since I was a kid. The whiz burger is my favorite! The black cow is amazing too! There's a sweet lady that always takes our order and always remembers me! I'd give 10 stars if I could!"

"I have liked this root beer stand for many years & only drove by to see that it was still there. I feel transported back in time by the 50's style joint where you order and dine in your car. The waitress brings the order to your car window. There exists here a genuine nostalgia that Sonic drive-ins just do not have. My daughter fondly remembers us coming here for a mug or root beer or a root beer float. Small mugs for small kids hands was great because kids can hold their small mugs well and they know their needs were considered when this drive-in bought tiny mugs. I will make it a point to stop in for a mug again soon."

"Probably the best cheese fries I have ever had. Super great service. Shout out to Cameron, he’s a rockstar!"

"The root beer in the cold frozen mug is just amazing. It's just so smooth, and not overpowering. For food I ordered the zip burger and fries. The zip burger is kinda like a sloppy Joe that has mustard, onions, and pickles on it and oh wow was it good. The fries were pretty decent as well. It's also very good price wise. Overall I definitely recommend this place, and will be back in the future."

"For a place named for their in-house root beer, I'm not a fan of it. However, I am a fan of the delicious chicken nuggets and several other menu items. On this trip I ordered 18 nuggets (don't worry I ate 6 and saved 12) with barbecue sauce (Gates original sauce is what they give you for dipping). The nuggets are the best around as they are gigantic and tasty! I also ordered a whiz burger (crumbly burger with cheese). Prices are affordable and the car hops are always friendly. With a large menu there is no reason not to try this blast from the past."
