"If you're looking for good donuts from a family owned business made with home loving and great variety, this is a local place to check out for sure! Beats those franchise Krispy Kreme and Dunkin. Personally, I like them over Lamar's as well!! They're so light, fluffy with the perfect amount of dusted sugar glaze on those original glaze. If you like chocolate, the devils food is awesome too!!"

"If you comb through the high reviews you'll see lots of praise for service, price, and nostalgia. I'm only here to review the food. The cake donuts are dry and bready. The glazed donuts have a hint more moisture, but not enough to improve the flavor. The frosted donuts are inedible. They tasted as though a can of Pillsbury frosting had some flavoring extract and coloring added to it. Saccharine with almost no supporting flavor. The glazed raised donuts are the only thing keeping this review from 1 star. They aren't anything special, but they have an expected mid level of sweetness. I recommend driving anywhere else to get a dozen. Even thawed, delivered frozen, gas station or grocery store donuts have a better balance of flavor than these."

"I went here for the first time today and let me tell you it was a treat. They make all their donuts from scratch . Looks like the place has been in business for over a half a century. This place has lots of love in it. The ladies there are sweet and kind and were very friendly. I couldn't imagine a better donut shop in the area. You could tell this family locally owned business puts the customers needs and wants first. Jeez the dozen was only 9 dollars. Then the lady gave me I think 3 free donuts with the two milks and the 15 donuts I had it only cost me 15 dollars. I highly recommend this place. 10 out of 10 will be back again. Oh and my favorites were the pudding filled long John's and the blueberry iced cake donuts. I will definitely be back."
