"The food needs help. Meatloaf meal with mash potatoes and green beans and salad. Lemon pie for desert. Meatloaf greasy over worked meat with no traditional filling and no seasoning. Mash potatoes was instant. Sad. Green beans were ok but some seasoning would have made it better. Adding seasoning later (salt & pepper just does not cut it.) The salad was good. The pie was great until end the crust was burnt. I ended up with burnt crust flavor in my mouth. Disappointed. Sorry I was hoping. Please ditch the instant potatoes. Use seasoning. Meatloaf has a binder so be creative. Use quality hamburger meat and don’t over work it. Please. It was my birthday and all I wanted was that. I hope you guys get better."
"Pros: the price was very affordable felt like how normal breakfast should be priced. Cons: basically everything else! I got the skillet, it had zero seasoning on any of the food, the food was only flavored by the meat in my skillet. Unseasoned eggs too, maybe they though covering something in cheese counts as flavor? Not sure. I had to add black pepper and hot sauce to make this somewhat palatable. I think since this place serves an older crowd they don’t season their food, but what about other patrons who would like flavor in their food? Service was just okay, server wasn’t bad, wasn’t the best either. The vibe felt kinda dreary, it also was raining so maybe that added to the vibe but I don’t think I’ll be giving this place another chance."
"Always good food and good service. Stopped by tonight for a pork tenderloin, but when I saw the smoked pork steak, I wanted to try it. When it arrived, it looked dry, and I was a bit concerned. However, it was not dry and was very tasty. One small portion of one edge was a bit dry, but I would order this again in a heartbeat."
"best diner in the area. been coming here since i was a little kid (i'm 24 now) - they rebuilt a while back after a bad fire and came back better than ever. delicious fresh food, reasonable prices, fantastic service and great atmosphere. i recommend this place to all my friends :)"
"We had an excellent dinner a couple weeks ago, and ordered takeout on Monday. Great menu, staff is great. Good place for a variety of tastes. Update, February 28. We had the hamburger steak which was great."
