"EXCEPTIONAL and THANKFUL can best describe my experiences at Prairie Fields Dentistry. After a lifetime of maintaining the appearance of my teeth I suffered an injury resulting in chipped and cracked front teeth. Shortly after my teeth became discolored and I experienced a gum line issue resulting in a significant decline in the appearance of my smile. I was extremely disappointed and began to explore my options to repair the issues. The options I received included crowns, veneers and even implants all of which were expensive and time consuming. So I tolerated my condition and really did feel self conscious and reluctant to smile. It did affect my sense of spontaneity because I became so guarded and somewhat embarrassed. However, I received the motivation to restore my appearance from my daughter’s upcoming wedding. To be restrained from showing my happiness on her most special day was unacceptable. Perhaps even irresponsible so I began another search in earnest to find the most appropriate way of regaining a decent smile. The considerations of expense and procedure time became secondary but I wanted to explore any additional options before moving forward. Enter Dr.”Luke” Wolniak and his staff at Prairie Fields. Fortunately, my daughter was previously a patient and raved about Dr.Wolniak. She recalled his 3D X Ray technology when another dentist had recommended a root canal and she got a second opinion from Dr. Wolniak showing a less severe procedure would suffice. It did . Based on her experience and recommendation I had an examination and consutation with Dr. Wolniak. From that process he felt there were additional options, which he referred to as solutions because they incorporated multiple aspects of dentistry which collectively applied would achieve my goals. However, before he would make his final recommendation I would require a bone and gum examination by a specialist. I readily agreed as I was both anxious and optimistic that Dr. Wolniak philosophy of “the best dentistry is the least amount of dentistry” would apply to my situation. When the results from the specialist’s examination were received Dr. Wolniak presented his recommendation and explained how my goals would be achieved. He gave me the pro’s and con’s and a realistic expectation of the final result. All of which I clearly understood and accepted. The treatments began two months ago. They consisted of five two hour sessions that eventually addressed all the issues. These sessions were pain free and highly productive. After each session I could see the significant improvement being made and knowing that Dr.Wolniak’s solutions were working was very uplifting . The treatments have finished and I am more than delighted. It’s important to know that this was all accomplished without the options of crowns, veneers or implants. I am truly thankful for Dr. Wolniak’s knowledge and skill that he exhibited during the entire process. His willingness to understand my needs and apply his expertise is greatly appreciated. Dr. Wolniak’s successful approach to meeting my needs reflects great credit upon himself, Prairie Fields Dentistry and the dental profession. He is truly a great dentist and an outstanding individual."
