"I was referred to this office by somebody who has anxiety about dental work as well. Not that I have ever needed it, but my last couple of cleanings at my previous dentist did not go very well. I experienced pain I normally wouldn’t have had with a standard cleaning, like being really rough, when measuring my gums, or even flossing my teeth. I let them know ahead of time when I made the appointment that I hadn’t been in about four years and then I developed anxiety after my previous bad experiences. Courtney my hygienist was an absolute dream, and so sweet and gentle with the whole process. She took her time, and I never felt rushed. She explained everything in detail so I knew what was happening and always made sure to let me know that I could tell her if I felt any discomfort so she could stop. I never felt any discomfort, but I believe that’s because she actually took the time to do my cleaning. Unlike the other places I’ve gone to where they want to get people in and out. Dr. Jones was so sweet and kind as well! For once I actually felt like my dentist actually cared about checking my teeth! At previous offices after a cleaning with the hygienist, the dentist would spend about two seconds tops, and left as fast as possible. Dr. Jones did not do that at all! The dentist always used to be my favorite Doctors to see. And then they weren’t so I avoided it. But now I’m so confident and comfortable, that I’m happy to do my two cleanings a year with this practice, And although I hope I never need any dental work, I believe I will be in the right hands if that ever happens!!
