"I took my car to Avenue Auto a week ago, and asked them to look over the engine and tell me if anything needed to be fixed. They called me and said that only the battery needed to be changed, for $375. I let them change the battery. The next day, I got my car back and drove it for 20 minutes, when it overheated and died. I called the auto shop and told them what happened. They said to bring it back in. A friend checked my engine before I brought it back in and showed me that there was a hole in my radiator. I brought the car back in. I waited three days for them to look at my car again, and when they did, they told me that I needed a new throttle body, which would cost me $850. I asked if they had looked at the hole in my radiator. They said they didn’t have a note about that, and that they would check it. I waited another day for them to look at my radiator, and when they did, they said it was the water pipe, and that it would cost $400 to fix. At this point, I had gotten other opinions and prices, and felt like they were just trying to get money out of me and didn’t respect me. I decided not to let them repair my vehicle. I do not recommend this auto shop."

"I have an older car which typically repair services think they can get away with lying to you about how much is wrong with it. I checked it over myself pretty thoroughly before I ever took it in and got the expected feedback, they told me my battery was old. I wanted to take it to professionals just in case I really did miss something. My parents have been using them for years and always told me that there’s pretty much no other place out there who will be as honest as they are. They are very friendly and I will definitely be using them again in the future!"
