"It's a great park for river fishing, I ended up catching a couple trout and nearly landed in a steelhead."

"Launched our raft from here numerous years ago...very early in the morning....no wait for getting raft in the water. These days, I would recommend not leaving a vehicle here all day."

"A pretty place. It has a sandy beach, too. When the river is down. Conveniently located next to the river with boat landing. Fishing seems good. Careful! Swimming is treacherous next to the water treatment plant. Smooth looking water hides strong currents beneath. Life jackets advisable. I am the artist that painted Mama Riverbear. She wears a life vest to remind you to do the same."

"Nice park. Great for laying a blanket down and having lunch. There sounds is the water was relaxing. If you're lucky you can get an ice cream cone from the ice cream truck driving thru."
