"This is my favorite park in the entire Rouge River Valley!!!! It’s great for so many things! There’s a long sand/gravel bar for swimming - as the waters pretty calm - where the jet boats will slow down and do “wheelies” sometimes during the summer months. There’s a large waterfront grassy area to play, picnic and play ball in. It’s also a beautiful place to take photos. There’s a nice sized campground with yurts that can be rented, tent and RV spaces … a little something for everyone in one of the most beautiful area’s in Josephine County. If you’re living in South Central Oregon or visiting Grants Pass or Medford, this park deserves a visit from you. You will not regret the trip."
