"This spot offers a unique view of the estuary, but there is not much more here than a viewing platform and 2 staircases down to the muddy banks. Seems that there are a lot of people here that walk along the bank trail with or without dogs, probably mostly at low tide."

"Though I loved all of Seaside, this area was filled with the most magnificent natural beauty. There were at least 3 different types of birds flying around, including a group of Brown Pelicans. We actually got to see them (brown pelicans) dive and catch food several times. It was amazing. There was another flock of diving birds, but I couldn't actually tell what there were, however there was so many of them flying around. The formation they were flying in looked like a tornado of birds, though they were going in both directions. There is a elevated platform you can observe from, as well as stars(no rails) that led the edge of the river/bay. We saw a couple kayaking and that's were they brought them up. In town there is a place to rent kayaks and other things like paddle boats, and all sorts of wheeled rentals. If you come to Seaside you MUST VISIT THIS ESTUARY!!!"
