"Will literally saved my life. He actually cared. Listened. Helped me over a period of four years. This VA center doesn't care about Veterans or it's best counselors. Or retaining them. Incredibly sad. Must be liberals running the show here."

"I sought mental health care from the VA. They said I needed long term care and should go here. I take time off from work, come here, fill out the paperwork, and then the counselor (George) tells me to go back to the very person who told me to go to the vet center in the first place. Enjoy being ping ponged by the VA? Be sure to check these guys out. They'll happily send you back the way you came."

"I was there and recieved help when John Jones was there. I recently went back because I was looking for help dealing with my PTSD. Got a face to face, to reacess, and call back saying as counselor would contact me to setup an appointment. That was 2 weeks ago. Thank God I have enough of a support system to help me hold on. They FAILED to keep their word."

"This place is unethical and doesn't even deserve a star. What they did to my husband was wrong. They closed out his case because he called out an unethical counselor. They did it over email and they gave no real reason of the cancellation of his case. They only did this because he called them out and it was clear the counselor he called out was indeed buddies with the Director. They told him in a email he had to go to the Roseburg VA for now on for his mental health, nope he won't because he shouldn't have to drive that far for care. The Eugene Vet Center doesn't care about the mental health of our veterans. Instead they weaponize it with their pushy counselors they treat your mental health like a car salesman selling you a car. Also the Director John Jones lacks integrity don't trust this place at all.."

"My husband is a Swift Boat Sailor during the Viet Nam War. He experienced many horrible events. We just learned about the Vet Center and on Saturday my husband had his first appointment with a counselor. I can't tell you how impressed I was with all the people working at the Vet Center. Kind, empathic, and good listeners were my first thoughts of their talking to my spouse. His first appointment went long. He was able to recount many painful experiences in country. The counselor was the perfect and was able to make this as comfortable an experience with my Veteran. I just wish we knew of this valuable facility in 2005 when we first moved into this area. Thank You to everyone who works here. I recommend this facility to all Veterans."
