"So I like most people had to wait awhile when I was a new patient. In my experience it was worth it. Doctor Skylar helped me immensely and we worked on a plan that would work for me. I really like that I can call him if I am struggling on the plan and get advice. The nurses and scheduling folks have always been pleasant too. Although I always ensure I am punctual. If you are ever on the fence about if treatment for sleep issues can help I assure you they do."

"Doctor and staff are amazing. I started off as a parent of a patient, then a parent of a second patient, and became a patient myself as I saw the positive life altering change after the proper sleep disorders were diagnosed. The staff are personable and easy to talk to. Everyone is great about getting questions answered - even if you have to call back for an "after thought" question. Sleep diagnosis can be a smidge lengthy - but I have witnessed and experienced "why". They are wonderful about seeing you as a person and seeing your life to help get you diagnosed as quickly and efficiently as available - but corners are not cut to make sure there is accuracy! I wish more general practitioners, parents, teachers, etc. even had a smidge more updated knowledge. I have enjoyed the educational updates to what I previously thought I knew about sleep, sleep hygiene, and sleep disorders. The Salem Health Sleep Center has been life altering in amazing and positive ways that I cannot say enough positive things about them!"

"Incredibly happy to have been referred here. I work in a medical setting, so I feel that I can be overly critical when I go to my own medical appointments. I first received a call from this office after being referred by my primary, the woman I spoke with on the phone set very clear expectations on what documents to expect in the mail and explained what my first appointment would be for. I received the documents very quickly, and also included were additional instructions to help set expectation for the appointment, and a map of the hospital to help direct me to the office. When I showed up for my appointment, both receptionists were incredibly friendly and professional. I watched, and experienced, them stopping their conversations as patients walked in the door to help them immediately. I was taken back for measurements by a very kind MA, who introduced herself and set very clear expectations for the appointment. After my measurements, she asked a few clarifying questions and then excused herself to notify the doctor that I was ready. Dr. Schuyler came in and also introduced himself, said he'd be okay being called by his first name, and then clarified what I was there for and then let me know what my time with him would look like. I received an additional referral from Dr. Schuyler, that I had been practically begging from my primary physician for over a year. He asked if there were additional support or concerns I had. He explained the next steps in my care (handed me tissues because I was getting emotional) and told that my MA would be back in with educational materials and to schedule my next appointments. After scheduling my appointments, she explained what the process would be like, and eased several concerns and listened to my worries. The MA excused herself from the room to staple documents for me, and was very clear about where to meet her in the hallway for said documents. As I was leaving, Dr. Schuyler came by and thanked me again for coming in. The staff's compassion did not come off as forced or fake, it felt like everyone was genuinely happy to be in that setting. I may have over explained the process in this review, but I was incredibly pleased with my experience. Pay no mind to the negative reviews!"

"I was surprised to read the negative reviews. I called to set up my initial appointment a few months ago, and had no problem speaking to a receptionist. They scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Thye Schuyler, and my encounter with him was very positive. He was friendly, accessible, and answered all my questions. I was then scheduled for an overnight sleep study, which I will do tonight. Everyone so far has been very helpful and easy to reach."
