About the Business
Modern Dance Technique (MDT) is a renowned dance program located in Corvallis, Oregon. We offer Modern Dance classes for individuals aged 6-21, including beginner teens and advanced classes, as well as Creative Movement classes for children aged 4 1/2 to 6. Our classes take place at Odd Fellow’s Hall and the Majestic Theater in Corvallis.
Our Artistic Director, Donna Blatt-Ervin, has a wealth of experience in Ballet, Modern, African Dance, Graham Technique, Horton Technique, and Afro Haitian dance. She has performed with various dance ensembles and has choreographed for numerous productions. Donna's passion for modern dance shines through in her teaching, as she aims to provide students with a strong foundation in classical and contemporary styles.
At MDT, we strive to inspire our students by exposing them to world-class professional dance performances and instruction. Many of our students have gone on to further their dance education, becoming performers, choreographers, teachers, and artists.
