"OK first off, this is Corvallis.. a VERY old town. This is a very old hotel. The rooms are dated. The flooring is dated. The beds are comfortable. The staff and service were terrific. Everything worked in our room and we had two great nights of sleep. If you are looking for a cheap room right by the Oregon State campus, this will do. There are two great restaurants right in the same parking lot."

"The first room I was assigned was unsafe as the door part of the mechanism to keep the door from opening was missing and there was a large hole in the door. The nice person at the front desk gave me a different room that had the door mechanism. But the fact that they assigned a guest to the unsafe room was utterly unacceptable and colored my entire stay."

"The night employee was very abrupt both on the phone as wall as when I checked in. Seemed upset that I had a dog. Yet I clearly had that on the orbitz reservation. While the rooms are nice enough. We were given a smelly room. I think they keep all pet owners in certain rooms. The halls were not vacuumed in recent days and they also smelled. My advice get rid of the carpet in rooms that are for pets. Get the maids to do a better job in the halls. And maybe help the staff understand customer etiquette. Make us feel like your happy were there. And lock the gate on the back lot where the homeless are camping."

"A friend and I got a room because it was 110 fahrenheit, and wanted to be in an air conditioned place, and go swimming in the pool.i There was no power to the lights, the TV, the air conditioner. We called the front desk, she said she would send a technician. We waited for two hours, no technician showed up. So we requested a different room. Everything worked, but no cable service to the TV. We went for a short swim in the pool, then went back to our room and ordered lunch delivery. Afterwards, we went back to the pool, and it was closed, with a big padlock. On the hottest day in recorded history."
