"Writing a review for Peak Sports Bike shop has been long overdue. I starting going to Peak in 2003. I have purchased numerous Specialized bikes for myself and my immediate family. Peak is the only bike shop that services my bikes. The staff at Peak are very thoughtful, knowledgeable and are very friendly. They make me feel like family! The expertise of Alex and Jonathan is a huge benefit since regular thorough maintenance is something that I always perform on all of my bikes. They are always willing to give me sound advice and do not oversell or hard sell anything. They are honest and the work has been flawless every time. I would not take any of my bikes to any other shop! Peak Sports Bike Shop has never disappointed me in over 20 years. I look forward to another 20 years working with Peak Bike Shop! Matthew Zollinger, M.D."

"Fantastic bike shop! Jon helped me get a bike set up with different gearing and brakes which made a huge improvement. Fast service and good prices - this is my go-to shop."

"I've had several bad experiences here which prompted me to write this review. I purchased two Treks from here; one in March 2023 and the second in April 2023. I noticed there was a $50 additional charge on my receipt for the first bike I purchased so called Peak the next day to inquire. The person that answered informed me the $50 charge was because they had to order the color I wanted from trek since they didn't have it in stock at the store. This fee is not charged if I had ordered from Trek myself, Peak would still assemble b wouldn't make as much from the sale. I'm all for supporting local so was fine with that. However, strike one for the sales person not initially providing full disclosure. When I purchased the second bike, the sales person (different from the first time) did alert us of the $50 charge to order which I appreciated. Then when we took our bikes in for service in June, I had some questions on the service plan they offered which the store rep couldn't immediately answer. He took my info down and said he would call me. I never heard back, so that's strike two. Finally, I went in yesterday to check if they had an extra barrel nut I could purchase for my dropper post install. Seems PNW missed including a part, and I was trying to complete my install to ride the next day. The rep at the service area, let's call him mustache man because he had a mustache, first tried to tell me I was installing it incorrectly. A mechanic from the back overheard our conversation, brought out the part I needed, and asked "is this it?". Mustache man asked him where he got it and proceeded to come up with all kinds of reasons why he couldn't sell it to me. I could tell the mechanic was trying to help, but mustache man kept shutting him down. Strike three! So I left without my part and walked down to Bike and Hike. The guy there was super helpful and empathized with my frustrations. He pulled the part out of a random parts bag and sold it to me for a $1. I was able to complete my install later that day. Hike and Bike won my business yesterday, and Peak Bikes lost it. If you want a Trek, I'd recommend purchasing from another store or buying from Trek directly and let Peak assemble. One thing local stores can do to compete with online stores is provide a higher level of customer service, and Peak bikes failed numerous times."

"This place deserves 6 stars. I have had such positive experiences here and continue to highly recommend them to my friends. I (a novice biker) bought a used bike off Facebook that ended up not fitting me very well. I took it into the shop to see what they could do, and Jonathan went above and beyond to help make the bike more comfortable for my commute. He was patient and attentive as I explained what was wrong and his expertise in bike mechanics was quite clear as he replaced key parts of the bike, completely changing my riding experience. While everyone in the shop seemed very kind and knowledgeable, I recommend working with Jonathan if possible. He is extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and a straight shooter. Bonus, he also has the cutest little pup that hangs out while he fixes bikes."

"We had been on the hunt for a couple of hard tail bikes for sometime, Covid has made the supply chain a challenge, and was elated to find that Peak Sports had just received a shipment of bikes. The next day, we headed to their bike shop and was greeted by Alex. Very professional, and helpful. Peak had 2 Specialized bikes, exactly what we were looking for, and at the right price point. After a test run, it was a done deal. Alex ran through all the important things we needed to know to get going. Thanks so much Peak Sports. Here is out 2nd outing, a back trail along the Willamette River."
