"I recently took my sick cat to Wilvet South. This was my first experience with them after having used what was the only other emergency vet in the area several times. This experience was sooooo much better. From the first phone call to taking my kitty back home, it was as good as it can be in an emergency medical situation. Not only did they attend to my kitty more quickly than expected but we also waited in a private exam room. Having waited in either my car or the waiting room with a sick kitty in a carrier before, this made a huge difference in the stress level for both of us. It was definitely expensive but that comes with emergency vet care. I paid the low end of the estimate up front but my kitty didn’t require all of the care. So, I was refunded a significant portion. I would recommend Wilvet South to anyone seeking care for their pets."

"We just had our dog put down. It was the hardest thing ever but they made it so comfortable. Hailey helped us and she was the sweetest person, she deserves a raise. I will continue to take my pets here honestly best vet experience I’ve ever had. Very clean, comfortable, understanding staff, and loving care."

"On 1/20/24, we took our sweet boy, Rocky in because he was very weak and not eating much. We knew something was very wrong with him. I called ahead of time, because my regular vet was too booked to see him. We came in from Oakridge. When we got there, they took him right in for vitals. After some time, the vet, Erica Harman, came out to let us know what she thought was going on. She thought he shown some signs of salmon poisoning. We decided to keep him there to get further treatment. So after a couple hours of everything we went back home to wait and see how he responds. Later that evening, we got the call of doom that after further testing, Rocky indeed did not have salmon poisoning, that he had a very serious life threatening disease called IMHA. He was so incredibly sick. Further treatment like blood transfusions would be required and not even sure if his body would respond. We made the hard decision to let Rocky go, because I know his body was so weak, and I didn’t want to put him through anymore surgeries and other things. I just didn’t want him to suffer a great deal. We came back in, and they gave us a room. We all said goodbye to him, and Dr. Harman injected him as we all stayed with him till he passed. It’s the hardest thing I ever had to do. But I know Rocky is no longer in pain. Everyone from the beginning to the end has been so nice. Dr. Harman gave us all a hug and was so comforting throughout the whole time. Today, we received a card from the clinic, and it was the sweetest thing. They all signed it. Thank you Dr. Harman, and all the others in the clinic. We are so lost without our boy, but we are thankful for you all, and appreciate you. God bless you all."

"Everyone from the person who answered the phone to the person who checked us out was incredibly kind and professional. Dr. S was specifically thorough while assessing my dog-hter and was very patient with how timid she was at first. Also special shout-out to nurse Gabby who came out to check on us and keep us informed during the checking in process."
