"If you hire this company be aware that they charge $148 an hour!!! And they over charge you for the driving time for the technician. I gave 2 stars only because the tech was nice, however, he did not put down anything under his tools that he was using and got some sticky stuff on my bathroom counter that I cannot get off and put his tools all over my beautiful Afghan that was on bed in the bedroom and got black stuff all over it and I had to wash it twice! I found a good electric contractor that only charges $95 an hour and no drive time!!!"

"We’ve had two electricians out for bids to install a special outlet for my EV (220?) they were scheduled weeks out and then never sent us a bid. We were about to call someone in the valley when a friend recommended Aboveboard Electric. I wish I had called them first! Now in addition to the outlet in our garage we needed a 110 installed in our kitchen as we are converting to a gas range. When Tom & Anthony arrived they explained that once the 220 in the kitchen was switched to a 110 I wouldn’t be able to use my stove until the new range was delivered and installed. Which was scheduled more than a week later. They arranged to come out first thing on the morning of the delivery so I wouldn’t be without a way to cook for my family. I’ll admit I was worried that they might not come back based on my previous experience. But true to their word, they called the night before to make sure I still needed them & arrived first thing in the morning on the day of delivery. Talk about service! They did a wonderful job, were quick and my new outlets are perfect. I will be using them in the future and will recommend them to anyone needing a great local company to work with."

"We obtained an original bid for a new breaker box and a few other items for approx. $3,400 in our 515 sq. foot beach house. Our contractor recommended since our home had all the walls open/exposed to just rewire the whole home. This is where we made a mistake, we never received a bid for this additional work. Their work was good but the cost was outrageous. We should have obtained other bids in the Lincoln City area, other electricians informed us (after the fact) with the size of our home - the overall charge should have been 30-40% less. Lesson learned on our part."
