"People who answer the phones are disorganized, rude, and don't do their jobs. You call to make an appointment and are immediately transferred either to an answering machine or a woman with a really nasty attitude. When I leave a voicemail requesting to schedule an appointment I get calls back from three different people. One said "We don't usually schedule appointments through this line", even though it is the line they transfer you to when you ask to schedule an appointment. The second two called to make my appointment after I had already scheduled it. The doctor herself didn't listen to anything I said, ignored all of my concerns and told me "You probably just have hyper mobility. I bet you can touch your palms to the floor without bending your knees right?" Based on absolutely nothing, and also ignoring me when I said that I absolutely can not touch the floor like that and that I'm not flexible at all and I don't match any of those symptoms. Hyper mobility was ruled out already by another doctor, but she had her mind made up before I even walked in the room. She recommended physical therapy for the hyper mobility that I DON'T HAVE and then didn't even refer me to a physical therapist. I'm never going back here."

"My PA in great. But I can't get in to see her because the scheduling staff keeps getting the appointment times wrong. I get no reminder phone calls about upcoming appointments, despite double checking that they have the correct number and that I do indeed want those calls. I show up at appointment times I know are correct and they say I missed my appointment because it was the day before, and that I no showed. I am 6 months late to getting a follow up on starting my new medication Cosentyx simply because the scheduling is so bad. One time is understandable, everyone makes mistakes, but when it happens repeatedly, it's because the scheduling staff does not know how to do a basic job. I highly do not recommend, I only am giving them another chance because the provider I see is very good, kind, and takes time to try and find the best course of action for my arthritis."

"The staff and the providers at Salem Rheumatology are a professional group of caring people. I was very happy with the experience I had with them. I have recommended this clinic to a couple of friends who were searching for a good health care experience during a difficult time physically."

"I have seen Diane and really appreciate her empathy, knowledge and willingness to listen. She is great. However, any time something is put in the hands of the office staff, there has been a problem. They have billed the wrong insurance, sent to the wrong pharmacy, taken forever to send referrals or not sent them at all, not requested medical records etc. They even had two different people call me to schedule appointments, after telling the second person that I’ve already scheduled with someone, I showed up to not have any appointment put on the books at all. Literally a problem every time. Unless they get some better office staff, I would not recommend."
