"The first time we used this company everything was great! This time while unpacking I've encountered the following issues Unlabeled or mislabeled boxes One box full of rice because it wasn't taped Another full of pasta, same issue Diapers left in diaper pale without saying anything No sense of order in boxes Glasses packed right next to each other and shattered My $500 vacuum was left on the front porch I mean I'm incredibly grateful that I didn't need to pack and move myself but it's just one thing after the other"

"Worst moving experience to date that I have ever had. Was forced to use this moving company as part of a relocation package for work. The pick up crew was ok, took care of packing stuff or so I thought. Delivery team was ok, responsive while moving things, however they dropped and threw boxes around. Problems: Damaged goods. I had a shelfing unit that was custom built and they damaged it so bad that it had to be replaced. Weed Eater that was working perfect until it was stored improperly (upside down) causing the engine to seize and become unusable. They disassembled my TVs, chairs, and lamps. When arriving to the new location they refused to re-assemble them. Had to bring people back the next day. Missing Items: They lost my vacuum cleaner completely, still don't know where it went to this day. They lost the legs to my desk rendering it un-useable (They took the desk apart). Also a custom lamp shade went missing, still don't know where it is at either. Packing Quality: They have no discernable packing philosophy. All my pots and pans where packed with my garage tools. They packed picture frames without appropriate protecting causing them to break. Had to file a claim for insurance to replace/repair items. However, you also have to provide proof of purchase or value of item at purchase. In short, I will never use this company again and I am forewarning you now, the company doesn't care about your good or ensuring that they reach the destination safely."

"AMS was unable to help me with my move because I didn't meet their minimum, but they did recommend another company that could meet my needs. The recommended company quoted me the same day. I want to thank Carl B. for his time and help."

"The service was top-notch from start to finish! A team of six, experienced movers arrived and moved everything with incredible caution and excellent coordination. They were friendly, polite, professional and organized. They packed the truck with the contents of a 5500 square foot home in less than five hours. The only hitch was the third party company that came to unhook and secure the washer/dryer. They were two hours later than they said, and the movers had to sit and wait with all their work done. If I have to move or friends need a recommendation, I will definitely use them in the future!"

"Easily the worst moving company you could find. In fact, this is probably just the worst company you could find. The crazy thing is that I didn't even hire them and I know this. Now for my rationale. Their moving vans are so large that they make you, the neighbors, move so that they have enough space. Then, they drive away and knock over a huge branch that goes straight through the rear windshield of the car you already moved in order to accommodate them. But don't worry, they put 3 guys on the job of watching the van drive away to make sure it doesn't hit anyone or anything. I wonder if those guys will get fired...I mean, it's not like they were doing anything anyways. Then once they immobilize your vehicle they'll say oh well and get into an argument during which they fail to take responsibility for their inept actions. If I became president of the United States in 2016, my first action would be to eliminate this company and put a good majority of its workers in a mental institution because if they applied to work for Alexander's then they are clearly clinically crazy. My prayers go out to anyone who choosing Alexander for anything ever."
