About the Business

Health & Educational Consultants is a reputable institution located at 2145 Northwest 14th Street in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. With 36 years of experience, we specialize in helping RNs and LPNs re-enter the nursing field. Our primary goal is to assist nurses in returning to work or maintaining their nursing credentials when they are unable to meet practice requirements. We have a 90% success rate in clinical placements and our program is approved by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) as well as eligible for funding through WorkSource Oregon.

Students enrolled in our program complete 120 hours of didactic training and 160 hours of precepted clinical experience to qualify for re-licensure through OSBN. The didactic portion includes 13 self-paced online and textbook lessons, which must be completed within 6 months. Students will need access to a computer, printer, scanner, and high-speed internet to participate in the program. Upon completion, re-entry nurses do not need to take the NCLEX exam to be licensed in Oregon.

Health & Educational Consultants has established partnerships with over 160 healthcare facilities across Oregon where students can fulfill their clinical requirements. We strive to accommodate students by arranging clinical placements in their local communities. While most placements are outside of hospitals, we do offer hospital placements for students with extensive hospital nursing experience.

Additionally, we offer in-person skills classes by appointment in Corvallis for $200.00, or $300.00 if conducted off-site. Our institution is dedicated to supporting nurses in their re-entry journey and providing them with the necessary tools and resources for success.
