"I agree with The Google User below. I've lived here going on 9 months and the mold is out of control. When signing the lease, Sue (complex manager) told me to leave the bathroom window cracked if not there will be mold. But even with air flow/cracked bathroom window, mold took over the entire apartment on every window, almost every wall and in the kitchen cabinets. When I call to express what is going on in the apartment, I stated that even though I was cleaning the apartment with bleach to kill the mold, and leaving the windows open, that there was still a mold problem. Sue stated over the phone (because she is never in her office during office hours), "there is no mold problem" and "if you did what you were told by not leaning things up against the wall because that stops airflow, which creates mold". As if there is no air flow happening underneath a couch or behind a dresser. She scolded and dismissed me like a child. She lacks customer service skills and there was no service provided. There have been other problems in the apartment too, like a 30 year old refridgerater, oven not working, heater not heating, a natural gas heater and a natural gas range and no range ventilation. No extractor in the whole apartment. So our carbon monocide alarm signals. After searching for maintenance form, because they are never where they are suppose to be. They do respond quickly, with a quick job done, but nothing is really fixed. I will give them 1 point of credit, we got a new college-size dorm fridge after complaining a few times. Beside all that, when you are relaxing in your apartment you are comforted by the lovely sounds of the upstairs creaking floors, howling dogs in other apartments. Leaf blowers at 7:45am once a week, so rude! What about a rake? And then when you open your front door, you find a note from Bristol Equities Manager asking you to like them on Facebook. Bullshit! This is an unsafe and unhealthy place to live."

"We've been renting at Sandycrest for over a year now and have had an overall positive experience. The apartments ARE old, so you need to be responsible for getting any leaks reported quickly so they don't turn into a bigger issue. Turn around time for maintenance has been great. Some issues can persist if you aren't conscientious that they exist, such as mildew during the winter on the windows or some mold growth in the closets around the same time. We simply leave our closet doors cracked throughout the winter now so there is air circulation and wipe down our windows with Simple Green or White Vinegar once every two weeks. This has completely fixed the issue for us. This has been a very positive rental experience as pet owners. This is a very pet friendly community, and overall, the sound proofing between units is fantastic. The only time it seems 'noisy' is during the summer when we keep our windows open constantly (as does everyone else)."
